So frustrated....
How is it that someone who has played guitar for four years, (and classically trained in music for ten years) suck so horribly at writing songs? I've written maybe 30+ songs and let me tell you what they consist of.....30+ songs that suck.
People say that you are your own harshest critic. Well, this may be true, but I know a few other harsh critics out there that if they heard ANY of the shit I write they would cringe in dismay. I'm considering giving up. I've lost any talent I ever may have possessed--now there is just an empty shell where used to exist my music.

you do have talent, i like the two songs i heard you sing. you shouldn't give up...you can do it :)
dude, if you even heard the stuff i attempt to write, you'd know there are people out there that have *no business* even trying. keep it up!
